6 months

My sweet girl is 6 months old. I can't believe how fast the time has flown by....Vada Jolee is such a blessing to every one in our family. I can't begin to explain the way my heart and life changed when I found out I was pregnant...and then the day I met her.....that forever changed me!! I am blessed that she is a sweet, healthy and happy baby. She has changed so much since being born (she wasn't an easy baby for 3 months). However, I wouldn't change a thing. She went to the doctor today for her 6 month check-up and weighs over 18 pounds!! She likes her food. Some other things that she's been up to:

-all of sudden she doesn't like get dressed AFTER her bath....it's never bothered her in the past, but now it's not her favorite thing to do :)

-she is sitting up with support of her hands

-she has really noticed the Stitch (our cat) and laughs at him a lot

-she is constantly smiling at everyone she meets

-does not like the sun in her eyes....and will sport her shades when necessary (her nickname is Hollywood)

-her hair seems to be growing and getting a little thicker

-she still loves to eat and doesn't turn her nose up to anything.....as a matter of fact....she continues to try to get our plates and drinks off the table when we hold her

-she is still a daddy's girl :)

-loves her Lou Lou, baby, piglet and her lovey......and of course, her monkey

-she had a viral infection and we had to go to Kosairs ER last weekend...that about did me in (I don't know how people do it)....she had a high fever and vomitting....it was so sad :( She is better now.

The thing I love about her the most is how sweet she is to EVERYONE she meets...she loves without caution and is very "interested" in her surroundings (sounds better than saying she is nosey :)). I thank God for her sweet face everyday. She rolls over, says da-da, tries to pull herself up...but, that smile is what impresses me everyday.
